About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our Sales Team and to become our first hire in Germany! This role will initially be on a contract basis as we develop our presence within the German Market. We are currently a team of 50+ that has doubled in size since 2020 and are looking to double in size over the next year, giving you a great opportunity to get your foot in the door start-up turned scale up! Geomiq is now established in the UK and we are starting a commercial test into the German market, a fantastic opportunity to make a huge impact.

Main responsibilities:
  • Prospecting & Conducting Outreach
    • Research, prioritize, and develop tailored strategies for 250 target companies which will be given to you on upon joining.
    • Conduct daily outbound activities, including cold calling, to establish Geomiq in the German market
  • Customer Acquisition & Platform Selling
    • Drive customer acquisition from initial contact to onboarding and long-term expansion.
    • Confidently introduce German prospects to the Geomiq platform, navigating both translated and UK versions during the test phase.
  • Maximizing Inbound Enquiries
    • Respond to inbound inquiries via emails, calls, sign-ups, RFQs, and live chat.
    • Guide prospects through the buying journey, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Relationship Building & Collaboration
    • Serve as the main contact for German clients, fostering strong relationships.
    • Collaborate with the Geomiq team to align strategies and provide actionable feedback.
    • Actively participate in weekly German GTM meetings to support market validation.
  • Documentation & Metrics Tracking
    • Identify and document areas for improvement, addressing test-phase limitations with a proactive approach.
    • Track key performance metrics (e.g., calls, GMV, new logos) and analyze them to refine strategies and ensure the test's success.


Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluent in English and German
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Experience selling into the German market
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Experience effectively using CRM systems (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc)
Desired experience:
  • Experience of working within the digital manufacturing industry or engineering industry
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organisation
