Job description

The Job

We are on the hunt for a future-thinking Creative Director to co-develop and lead creative services team. Guiding and collaborating on engaging brand category narratives that will inspire. You will be directly responsible for designing and developing of brand materials for the business that are in line with the brand guidelines whilst delivering product marketing stories & solutions that are category specific and innovative.

Your Mission

  • Translation of marketing objectives into clear creative strategies;

  • Guiding campaign development from ideation to launch;

  • Lead and direct the creative services team in the development and production of all marketing collateral;

  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met proactively;

  • Inspire team members with emerging trends and innovations on a continuous basis;

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams;

  • Oversee profitability, deliverables, timelines and budgets;

  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative services team;

  • Actively involved in hiring and training creative staff;

  • Manage and cultivate the career development of members of our creative services team.

The position requires a perfect understanding to process the creative guidelines defined by the brands and ensure that all materials are within their corporate guidelines. 

Your Talent

  • A relevant Bachelors’s degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts or a related field; 

  • At least 8 years’ experience in Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on managerial level with an international organization or a global brand; 

  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects; 

  • Proven experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution); 

  • Creative Direction experience of product and campaign photoshoots; 

  • Understanding the retail environments (Department Stores, Sports, FMCG); 

  • Strong visual and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals; 

  • Organized, ability to prioritize, and can work well under time constraints and deadlines; 

  • Proactive, a self-starter that is highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment; 

  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities; 

  • Strong commercial understanding with an entrepreneurial mindset; 

  • Results orientated, flexible with strong communication skills; 

  • Fluent in English. 

This role is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible. To be considered for this position, you must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for a work permit.
