Who we are looking for
To drive FAIRTIQ's growth and strengthen its market position, we are seeking a Proposal & Bid Specialist (f/m/d) based in Europe, working 80-100%, with fluency in German and English. In this role, you will take the lead in crafting strategic, competitive, and impactful proposals and bids. Collaborating closely with our Sales and Business Development team as well as the Bid Management Lead, you will oversee the entire bidding process – from identifying opportunities to final submission. You will also work hand-in-hand with our New Markets Lead to deliver complete and high-quality proposals for potential customers. Your Responsibilities
- Winning Bids: Identify public tender opportunities and craft strategies to maximize success while aligning with market needs.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling, client-focused proposals and presentations.
- Solution Customization: Work with subject matter experts to tailor solutions and strengthen value propositions for client-specific objectives.
- Content Management: Maintain and update a centralized repository of high-quality proposal materials, templates, and past submissions.
- Contract Preparation: Partner with market leads and legal teams to prepare compliant, accurate, and comprehensive contract documents.
- Brand and Compliance: Ensure proposals and templates align with brand guidelines, style standards, and compliance requirements.
- Market Insights and Innovation: Research trends, analyze pricing, and propose innovative ideas to enhance competitiveness and drive growth.
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with sales, product, technology, and legal teams to deliver cohesive, unified, and effective submissions.
Your Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field; a Master’s degree or technical degree with relevant experience is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German; proficiency in French or Italian is highly preferred, with additional European languages as an advantage.
- Experience: 2-4 years in proposal development, bid management, sales support, or business development, ideally in tech, transport, or the public sector.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with sales, product, and legal teams to create compelling proposals.
- Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Experience with content management systems, proposal software, or CRM tools, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Passion for Mobility: Interest in technology and sustainable mobility; knowledge of public transport systems, mobility trends, and/or public tender processes is a strong advantage.
- Personal Traits: Resilient, results-driven, curious, adaptable, and confident in a dynamic, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
