In this role, you will lead paid media campaigns designed to attract prospective students to universities and educational programs. As a Paid Media Director, you’ll strategize, execute, and optimize campaigns across multiple channels, delivering results that align with client goals.

Your Role:

As a Paid Media Director, you will oversee paid media campaigns for education-focused clients, helping universities and institutions reach prospective students effectively. This role combines strategic planning, campaign execution, and client relationship management to ensure high-performing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital media campaigns across channels like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic display to attract prospective students.
  • Lead account planning processes, aligning campaigns with client goals such as lead generation, open house registrations, or program enrollment.
  • Monitor campaign performance and deliver regular reports with actionable insights to improve results.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop ad assets tailored to target audiences, including students and their families.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment on campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated on trends in digital advertising and higher education marketing, bringing innovative ideas to campaigns.
You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in paid media management, with a strong focus on lead generation and performance-based campaigns.
  • Expertise in digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic display.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns, ideally in sectors like education, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or similar platforms for performance tracking and optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and client portfolios.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with experience presenting strategies and reports to senior clients.
  • Familiarity with marketing to education audiences, such as prospective students, is a strong advantage.
Bonus Points:
  • Knowledge of streaming media platforms like YouTube or Spotify for targeted ad placements.
  • Experience with SEO or CRO (conversion rate optimization) to enhance landing page performance.
  • Familiarity with higher education marketing trends and student recruitment challenges.
