Job Title: Property Manager

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, 
  • Flexible hours, but core tasks such as phone calls must be completed Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST)

Job Description:
Join a dynamic and growing team as a Property Manager, where you’ll take the lead in managing a diverse real estate portfolio. This role involves overseeing leases, coordinating property maintenance, managing small-scale development projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lease Management & Organization:

    • Manage and track property leases, ensuring timely renewals and accurate recordkeeping.
    • Develop and maintain an efficient system for organizing property-related documents.
  2. Maintenance & Development Coordination:

    • Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and property improvements.
    • Prepare and submit building permits for small-scale development projects, liaising with local authorities as needed.
  3. Tenant Relations & Compliance:

    • Manage tenant relations, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct virtual property inspections using technology to maintain oversight of property conditions and tenant compliance.
  4. Reporting & Process Improvement:

    • Create detailed reports on property performance, maintenance activities, and development projects for senior management.
    • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Implement strategies to optimize property performance and ROI for the portfolio.


Requirements
  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; property management certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with exposure to residential and commercial properties.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with property development processes and building permits.
    • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and projects simultaneously.
    • Basic understanding of legal terminology and processes related to property management and leasing.
  • Communication & Technology:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
    • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
    • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office setup.
