This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Central Standard Time (CST) with 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

As the Grants and Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in fueling our organization’s mission through strategic grant acquisition and management. This position offers a unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking, as you’ll be instrumental in crafting compelling grant proposals and managing our grant portfolio. You’ll work closely with our Director of Development to expand our funding base, allowing us to broaden our impact in promoting social justice through data-driven initiatives. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using their skills to drive meaningful change in society.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the identification and pursuit of new grant opportunities that align with our organization’s mission and goals
  • Collaborate with team members to craft persuasive and impactful grant proposals, contributing to our collective goal of submitting four high-quality applications monthly
  • Take charge of the grant reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required documentation to maintain strong relationships with funders
  • Coordinate with various team members to gather crucial data and insights for comprehensive grant reports, showcasing the tangible impact of our work
  • Develop and maintain a forward-looking plan to meet grant commitments and deliverables, ensuring our organization stays ahead of deadlines and expectations
  • Support the preparation and execution of bi-monthly meetings with our dedicated fundraising volunteers, fostering a culture of engagement and shared purpose
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to maintain meticulous records of all grant-related information, enhancing our ability to track and report on our funding landscape
Requirements
  • Proven track record in grant writing and management, preferably within the nonprofit sector focused on social justice or related fields
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM, with a focus on its application for grant management and reporting
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate our mission and impact
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret and present data in meaningful ways to support grant applications and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Passion for social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a keen understanding of how these principles apply in a data-driven context
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to work remotely while maintaining high productivity and engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public administration, or social sciences (advanced degree a plus)
