This is a remote position.

Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous Estimator (Commercial Windows) to prepare precise cost estimates, material take-offs, and project budgets. This role requires a deep understanding of project requirements and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring adherence to design and material standards. The ideal candidate is experienced in construction estimation, proficient in relevant software tools, and has extensive knowledge of Logikal, with familiarity with Capral and Alspec commercial extrusions preferred.

What you'll be doing:

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and material take-offs for construction projects, with a focus on utilizing Logikal and familiarity with Capral and Alspec commercial extrusions.
Analyzing project requirements and specifications to determine the scope and cost of materials and labor.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing detailed recommendations to stakeholders, particularly in the use of Logikal systems.
Maintaining an organized record of estimates, adjustments, and relevant project documentation.
Reviewing and updating estimation processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry for Commercial Projects
Proficient in estimation software and tools, including CAD software such as AutoCAD.
Expertise in Logikal is required; familiarity with Capral and Alspec commercial extrusions is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation best practices.
Excellent analytical skills to assess project requirements and resolve issues effectively.
Clear and effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Set-up and Location: Remote/ WFH

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (AEDT) | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (PH Time)

Employment Type: Full-time
