Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Accountant to work for one of established chartered account firms in Australia.

Your day looks like..

Prepare and processing of clients expenses, bank statements
Reconciliations of balance sheets and profit and loss - Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns- (Independent, Company and Trust Tax Returns) ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Review and update workflow reports to manage and track the status of client projects.
Supporting with accounting, taxation, and business advisory research and technical advisory work for clients

Who are we looking for?

Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounting
Proficient in using XERO and Quick books and utilizing tax software and tools such as HandiSoft.
Extensive experience in preparing and filing tax returns, BAS, and IAS for Australian clients.
Has excellent organization skills, can work and prepare reports for multiple clients
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Possess necessary equipment, including a computer, high-speed internet, and a headset.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
Thorough understanding of Australian tax codes, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Technical Requirements

- Should have personal and working laptop/ Desktop, and one (1) back up
- Has Noise-cancelling headset (for interview and meetings)
- Back up internet connection (at least 30-50 mbps)
