We are seeking an experienced CI/CD Engineer to join our client’s team—a global leader in financial services. As a CI/CD Engineer, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and optimizing robust CI/CD pipelines for streamlined, reliable software delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless, automated workflows and effective deployment processes with a primary focus on Artifactory, Bitbucket, and Ansible Automation Platform.

Core Technologies

  • Frameworks and OS: Spring Boot, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Windows

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Manage and administer Artifactory repositories, Bitbucket source control, and Ansible playbooks for fully automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to drive smooth integration and continuous delivery across the software lifecycle.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices with Ansible, creating repeatable and reliable configurations.
  • Automate and maintain deployment environments using Tomcat, Nginx, and containerization tools (Docker/Podman).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, implementing preventive actions to maintain high stability.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews and improvements to the CI/CD processes to enhance efficiency, reduce release times, and maintain quality.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards within the CI/CD framework.
  • Willingness to participate in shift planning and weekend operational support.
  • Provide technical mentorship, sharing best practices in CI/CD and DevOps.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CI/CD Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role in software delivery.
  • Strong expertise with Artifactory, Bitbucket, and Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Proficiency in configuration management with Ansible (YAML) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Hands-on experience with application servers (Tomcat, Nginx) and database systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle DB).
  • In-depth knowledge of RHEL and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Java applications, Spring Boot framework, and containerization using Docker or Podman.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices, collaboration tools, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across technical and business teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in highly regulated sectors, such as finance or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with other DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Active participation in tech communities, open-source projects, or professional development initiatives.
