Job description

As a Test Automation Engineer, You Will

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and define business scenarios based on project epics, ensuring alignment with overall objectives and client requirements
  • Design and maintain daily smoke test scenarios to ensure system stability and functionality throughout the iterative development process
  • Perform detailed manual testing on completed user stories to ensure they meet the required functionality and quality standards, conducting pre-delivery checks for client satisfaction
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript-based technologies such as Cypress, and improve the automation framework to streamline testing procedures
  • Build, refine, and support automated test pipelines, ensuring seamless integration into the existing CI/CD workflow for efficient test execution
  • Perform thorough testing of REST APIs to ensure backend functionality meets requirements and adheres to established standards

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
  • Experience with containerized testing environments (e.g., Docker)
  • Solid experience performing thorough manual testing, documenting results, and ensuring functionality meets requirements
  • Ability to design and execute tests based on detailed business scenarios
  • Analytical mindset for identifying issues and resolving them effectively during the testing process
  • Strong interpersonal skills for consulting with clients, offering solutions, and building trust
  • Excellent English skills (min. B2 level)
