Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer to drive our service design initiatives and enhance user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design, journey mapping, and collaborative co-design processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about researching, identifying, and addressing user needs to create streamlined and impactful service experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Research & Insights: Identify and understand the needs of users for our services. Plan, conduct, and analyze user research independently or in collaboration with dedicated user researchers to derive actionable insights.

  • Persona Development: Define and refine user personas to represent key user segments accurately, ensuring service design aligns with their specific needs and preferences.

  • Journey Mapping & Service Structuring: Develop and restructure user journeys, mapping current and target processes to enhance the overall user experience. Identify touchpoints that optimize service interactions and reduce friction in user journeys.

  • Co-Design Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to co-create solutions that align with organizational goals and user expectations.

  • Information Architecture: Design and structure the target site map to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly navigation that meets user needs and supports a seamless journey through services.



Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Service Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Service Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design practices and successful projects.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies, persona development, journey mapping, and information architecture.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in co-design processes involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and familiarity with research tools is a plus.
