RecruitGo is in search of an SMSF Administrator based in the Philippines who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client is an Accounting - Business Advisory - Consulting company.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has the ability to gather - organise and summarise information efficiently and effectively, adhere to given budgets and time deadlines, manages own time - with assistance as required, applies principles of logical thinking to define problems - collect data - establish facts and draw valid conclusions, demonstrates organisational skills and attention to detail, commitment to the provision of value-added client service and technical expertise - delivering timely - quality professional services through a holistic and multi disciplinary approach, and professionalism and development team rapport.
Responsibilities
The Accountant assists with the effective completion of Client Accounting and Taxation requirements. Additionally - adhering to the Client Service Culture - with a dedication to improve Client and Staff interaction - overall level of service - know and embrace the Firm’s commitment to Client and Staff Care - by using interactions as an opportunity to identify needs and be proactive with value add.
· Work cohesively with Team, Practice Manager and/or Division Director to ensure Individual Workflow is effectively managed
· Aims to achieve Workflow Priorities as identified in SMSF: Division Workflow Meeting [Weekly]
· Support SMSF Administrator with Accountability SMSF: Lodgement Program - YETP – Billing
· Support SMSF Team including Workflow - Queries
· Support SMSF Administrator with Management of SMSF Division: Workflow [including SMSF: Team] on a timely basis
· Communicates progress with Individual Workflow and identifies issues with Client Work completion
· Preparation of SMSF Accounts and Tax Returns that comply with both Taxation and SISA Requirements
· Preparation of Income Tax returns for all entity types - including: Individuals - Micro [Small Business] Partnerships Trusts and Companies with Mentoring as required
· Preparation of Business and Instalment Activity Statements
· Processing of Periodic Data
· Preparation of Financial Statements - Account & Investment Report Reconciliations and supporting schedules
· Assist with analysing Financial Statements and Report on variances and potential SISA breaches
· Preparation Client Information Request [Email] - ECR
· Liaise with Clients in relation [but not limited to] the following: General Taxation and Business Matters
· Liaise with external Auditors & Financial Advisers [where applicable]
· Liaise with Office Manager regarding ongoing improvement to Firm Templates
· Enables Profitability of the Firm Adheres to Firm Marketing Initiative identified in the Client Care Program
· Assists with the preparation of News and Articles of Interest for Clients and Firm Website
· Other Projects as assigned
Qualifications
· Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
· Studying toward Membership of CAANZ or CPA required
· Minimum Five [5] to Years experience in Accounting
· Demonstrates a commitment to on-going Learning and Development
· Understanding of generally accepted Accounting Principles and SMSF reporting
· General knowledge and understanding of Australian Tax, Superannuation and Accounting issues
· Review and commence interpretation of Australian Tax and SISA Legislation
· Ability to gather - organise and summarise information efficiently and effectively
· Adhere to given Budgets and Time Deadlines
· Manages own time - with assistance as required
· Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems - collect data - establish facts and draw valid conclusions
· Demonstrates organisational skills and attention to detail
· Assist with Engagement Agreements and Client Onboarding
· Commitment to the provision of value-added Client Service and Technical Expertise - Delivering Timely - Quality Professional Services through a holistic and multidisciplinary approach
· Professionalism and development Team Rapport
· Proficiency with Software - Microsoft Office - Xero – Class - Internet and other Software Technologies used from time to time

● Salary Range: PHP 25,000 – PHP 33,000 (depending on experience)
● Work Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PHT
● Work Setup: Work-from-home in Philippines
