The Project

You will be working on projects for ArcelorMittal Sistemas, a global leader in steel production and mining. This role focuses on supporting SAP HR-related demands, including custom developments in ABAP, enhancements, and integrations, often in the context of migrations from SAP ECC to S/4HANA or new implementations. Your work will play a key role in optimizing HR processes and ensuring seamless data handling within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements in the SAP HR module.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and review technical specifications and documentation for SAP HR developments.
  • Work on SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring accurate data mapping and transformation.
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP HR functionalities and customizations.
  • Provide post-implementation support and optimization for HR-related processes.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for users and team members to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system efficiency.
  • Act as a technical advisor for SAP HR-ABAP developments, ensuring alignment with best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant, with a focus on SAP HR module implementation or migration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HR processes, including Payroll, Time Management, and Personnel Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with migrations from ECC to S/4HANA, including data conversion and integration.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Smart Forms, and Interfaces.
  • Familiarity with SAP enhancements, user exits, and debugging techniques.
  • Solid understanding of SAP system architecture and HR-specific modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English;
