About the Role
The Strategic Solutions Consultant is the expert on all scoring solutions. They work with clients to understand the problem they are trying to solve and to determine the best score/attribute solution that solves the problem. They independently design, test and prove the validity of the score’s performance.
Position is open to remote candidates in the US.
You will be responsible for:
Providing advanced statistical modelling and advanced process knowledge as well as expertise in demonstrating the value of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products to potential and existing clients.
Partnering with medium- to large-sized clients in the industry, account managers, sales representatives and other members of the team to lay out the test design/production design requirements and present the results to the client.
Sharing the test design/production design with internal production organizations to build the test/production process.
Identifying, developing and implementing best practices and mentors all team members on products, processes and industry knowledge.
Acting as an industry expert for clients, internal groups, and management.
Partnering with market planners to create and/or enhance products, workflow tools and systems.
Collecting, analyzing and reporting management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
Collating, modelling, interpreting and analyzes data; explains variances and trends
Identifying and documenting enhancements to modelling techniques
Performing all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, finance or equivalent.
Work Experience: 5-10 years with preferred industry experience (i.e., Collections, Credit, Insurance or Direct Marketing). 3-5 years client-facing or internal/external consulting experience preferred. Advanced understanding of risk information marketplace including data providers, industry solutions, technology vendors, strategic clients.
Consultative Ability: Advanced consultative skills with the ability to collaborate and to explore options, to demonstrate and to effectively use active listening skills to understand client needs.
Client Service Orientation: Expert-level ability to use data quality concepts and tools to effectively resolve client issues, while valuing client needs as high priority.
Developing Others: Strong ability to use performance management to hire, train, and motivate employees, while committing to employee development. Industry Experience:
Travel: May be willing to travel, as needed.
Innovation: Advanced affinity to try new methods and new approaches to problem solving while demonstrating an intellectual curiosity and inquisitive nature.
Leadership: Advanced ability to effectively set direction, align constituencies, and motivate others, while demonstrating vision.
Planning / Organization: Strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge and understanding of full lifecycle project management. Prior business analyst experience is preferred.
Presentation Skills / Communication: Expert-level oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Expert-level ability to deliver client presentations and performance analysis via the telephone and in-person to high-level clients.
Problem Solving / Judgment: Advanced analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to understand and think analytically about complex business problems. Focus on line-of-business-level projects.
Product Knowledge: Advanced demonstration of up-to-date and in-depth product knowledge.
Relationship Building: Advanced relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with modeling, sales, IT, product development and management.
Results Orientation: Expert-level time management skills and strict adherence to timelines, with the ability to operate within a structured approach and to deliver results. Possesses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently. Self-motivated.
Teamwork: Expert ability to work in a team environment by soliciting input and feedback. Deals effectively with conflict.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Hawaii and Colorado: $100,700 - 167,800 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland and Washington: $105,700 - 176,200 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $115,800 - 193,000 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $110,700 - 184,600 USD
