Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's e-commerce team. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless deployment processes, scalable infrastructure, and robust monitoring for our high-traffic e-commerce platform. This role focuses on leveraging modern DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms to enhance performance, reliability, and speed to market.

Contract lenght: 3 months

  • Azure DevOps Services:
    • Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines, Repos, Boards, and Artifacts for our e-commerce platform’s development lifecycle.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Implement and manage Azure infrastructure using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored to e-commerce needs, supporting automated deployments and frequent updates.

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS):
    • Orchestrate and manage containerized e-commerce applications on Azure Kubernetes Service to handle high-volume traffic.
  • Data Platform Integration:
    • Collaborate with the data engineering team to support and optimize Snowflake (or similar data warehousing solutions) for e-commerce analytics and reporting.
  • E-Commerce Optimization:
    • Ensure DevOps practices align with the fast-paced demands of an e-commerce platform, focusing on uptime, scalability, and rapid deployment cycles.


  • Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer in an e-commerce environment or similar high-traffic platforms.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps Services, including Pipelines, Repos, Boards, and Artifacts.
  • Hands-on experience with ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep for IaC on Azure.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for robust system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms to support e-commerce analytics.
  • Solid understanding of the unique challenges of e-commerce platforms, such as scalability, security, and high availability.
