The Wholesale Credit Delivery Middle Office Team provides ongoing support to the credit delivery origination and underwriting process by analyzing and summarizing client and transaction information, populating applicable loan origination system(s) and submitting finalized credit packages for approval. The team supports the loan closing process by gathering documentation required for closing, coordinating loan closings with the closing team, and ensuring the proper booking of all facilities on the loan system. The team is responsible for accurate and timely setup of all client credit files, ongoing updates, and annual credit file certifications. The team manages the tracking of reporting requirements and financial covenants as required by legal documentation by monitoring and clearing all ticklers for Wholesale Credit Delivery clients, providing reporting to Credit Delivery and mitigating potential risk by early escalation of past dues. The team also identifies new and recurring risks related to the origination, closing, booking, and funding of Wholesale Credit Delivery credit products.
Portfolio Specialists are responsible for supporting the efforts of the Wholesale Credit Delivery organization. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, portfolio administration, ensuring system and data accuracy, review of clients’ financial statement submissions, report preparation and distribution, and project support.
Loan Origination Specialists are responsible for supporting the efforts of the Wholesale Credit Delivery organization. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing credit transactions, facilitating timely completion of risk management and portfolio monitoring activities, ensuring system and data accuracy, report preparation and distribution, and project support.
Team Leaders are responsible for ongoing leadership and management of their Middle Office team to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives for their supported Wholesale Credit Delivery Lines of Business.
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Loan Origination and Portfolio Support Specialists, to include hiring, onboarding, training, and regular coaching.
- Ensure that team deliverables are met in a timely manner and to a high degree of accuracy.
- Critically evaluate current procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, particularly seeking ways to create capacity within the Credit Delivery organization.
- Serve as a liaison between and engage with leaders in Portfolio Administration, Portfolio Management, Loan Operations, Compliance, Audit, and Technology.
- Maintain Subject Matter Expertise and ensure that credit file standards, approval/closing/ funding deliverables, and regulatory requirements are being met and managed properly.
- Contribute to, manage, and/or lead special projects as needed including but not limited to process/system enhancement workstreams, audit/review remediations, and larger scale documentation/data requests.

- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, and/or project management
- Strong analytical and organizational skills or highly specialized skill set
- Highly motivated professional with well-developed verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept with Microsoft Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, and/or project management
- Proficiency with Truist bank operating systems inclusive of AFS Vision and other Wholesale applications (i.e. Salesforce, nCino, Moody’s Credit Lens, PPM)
