Job description

Role Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and senior-level Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the companys inventory and logistics operations across multiple platforms, including Amazon and Shopify. This pivotal role will ensure seamless inventory management, compliance with import/export regulations, and efficient shipping and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across Amazon and Shopify platforms.

  • Ensure accurate inventory documentation and reporting.

  • Maintain alignment between physical stock and online inventory systems.

2. Shipping & Logistics

  • Coordinate import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.

  • Work with shipping companies and couriers to facilitate timely and accurate deliveries.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipment-related issues promptly.

3. Stock Ordering & Projections

  • Forecast inventory needs based on trends, lead times, and delivery schedules.

  • Place orders with retailers and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Utilize data modeling tools to align procurement schedules with operational demands.

4. Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with support departments to identify and implement strategies for improving operational efficiencies.

  • Propose and execute process enhancements to streamline workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in shipping and logistics operations.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Shopify.

  • Understanding of online retail dynamics and inventory management.

  • Familiarity with data modeling tools for inventory and shipment planning.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of working across teams and stakeholders.

  • Has experience with any of the following: PCs, Gaming, Audiophile or other adjacent hobbies / enthusiast grade consumer electronics

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday, PST Time Zone, must be amenable to shifting schedules

  • Work Arrangement: Work at home
