Goldbelt C6 protects the safety and health of the country by supporting civilian public health and defense medical marketspace. C6 offers research and development, engineering, and logistics services that enhance and enlarge customers' operations. Summary:

The Vice President of Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives for Goldbelt C6 LLC, Goldbelt Professional Services LLC, Goldbelt Integrated Logistics Services LLC, Goldbelt Quantum Solutions LLC, Goldbelt PRISM JV and Goldbelt VectorCSP JV. They will serve as the Business Development Executive and be a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding market share. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building key customer and industry relationships, developing growth strategies, and ensuring overall market expansion. The VP will play a pivotal role in aligning business development goals with the company’s long-term vision and managing high-impact projects to ensure the success of growth initiatives.

This position is remote with 10% - 15% travel.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify emerging customer needs and opportunities to shape programs and initiatives that are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Government stakeholders and business partners.
  • Establish relationships and close big partnership deals.
  • Develop technical briefings and participate in essential business conferences.
  • Identify and vet potential partnership deals and opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging requirements, leveraging insights to drive strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Develop and implement the company’s business development strategy in alignment with its growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define short-term and long-term growth plans.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.
  • Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing both new and existing business opportunities for the company as well as strategic planning for re-compete contracting.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth towards defined sales targets.
  • Generate proactive Government customer capture/pursuit strategies that leverage the full range capabilities.
  • Lead, review, and edit final versions of proposals.
  • Become an expert in the company s professional services and where they sit within the larger ecosystem.
  • Manage business development pipeline and provide a warm hand off to operations upon award.
  • Responsible for managing the proposal development team to include strategic consultants.
  • Responsible for business development teams progress, reviews and timesheets.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated track record of capturing, negotiating and winning major government contracts and executing with high customer satisfaction (measured in realized revenue).
  • Proven track record in finding, evaluating, and securing significant new public or defense health business within the United States.
  • Negotiating case by case with the Presidents approval - able to win concessions without jeopardizing relationships and understand the relative value and importance of terms and conditions while adhering to the overall objective of the relationship and transaction.
  • Strategic Agility - ability to create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Government contracting regulatory and statutory rules.
  • Must be familiar and knowledgeable about industry standard bid and proposal processes.
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Building competitive Teams - building a pursuit team with high morale and spirit; encouraging open dialog works among teams with informal authority.
  • Business Acumen - knowledgeable about current and future issues that could affect the Organization, Customers, and their programs.
  • Directing Others - planning, organizing, and distributing workload appropriately and communicating clearly upward and laterally throughout the organization.
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and methodically organize people, resources and activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able and confident in speaking and presenting to both large and small audiences.
  • Possess exceptional people skills.
  • Possess exceptional Writing, Computer, and Communication Skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Teams, required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of leadership experience at the Vice President or President level.
  • Minimum 5 years or more in Sales and Government contracting.
  • Minimum 10 years working with 8(a) certified businesses.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required agency clearances.
  • Be able to travel between 10% - 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Management, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 8 years or more of Sales and Government contracts.
  • 5-7 years prior successful experience in marketing ANC owned companies.

The salary range for this position is $172,000 - $256,000 annually.
