Job description

Our client is a leading member of the cloud cybersecurity community.

What You Will Be Doing

Build and maintain the data platform and infrastructure to enable data transformation, machine learning workflows, and analytics.
Design and implement efficient ELT pipelines, enhance data transformations, and manage data movement across systems using event-driven architectures.
Perform ML model training, fine-tune large language models (LLMs), and establish ML Ops best practices.
Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve scalability and performance, optimizing tools like Kafka, Apache Hudi, StarRocks, Trino, and more.
Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to support domain-specific products and applications.
Contribute to maintaining a highly available, secure, and scalable system on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes and other cloud-native tools.

What You Will Need

Strong generalist with hands-on experience in data engineering, machine learning, and infrastructure.
Proficient in Golang and Python, with a deep understanding of event-driven microservices architectures.
Expertise in Kafka, Postgres, and building ELT pipelines. Familiarity with tools like AWS Glue, Dagster, DBT, Clickhouse, and Apache Superset is a plus.
Solid experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS, with containerized applications using Kubernetes.
Knowledge of modern data architectures, including lakehouses and real-time data processing with tools like Apache Hudi.
Experience with ML Ops, including model training, deployment, and fine-tuning.
