Civil Engineer – Land Use & Stormwater Expert (Remote)

BA Global Talent is looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Land Use and Stormwater Management for a remote position. This role involves providing services for a New Jersey-based consulting engineering firm that focuses on septic system design, inspection, and troubleshooting. Candidates must have a strong background in stormwater management and site plan design, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The ideal applicant should be receptive to feedback and have a demonstrated ability to provide expert testimony before planning boards, zoning boards, and other land use agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead land development projects, focusing on stormwater management and site plan design.
• Provide expert testimony before planning boards, zoning boards, and other land use agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local land use regulations.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and engage in constructive feedback.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Master's in Civil Engineering (MCE) or Master's in Environmental Engineering (MEng) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development, particularly in stormwater management and site plan design.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional testimony.
• Experience working with local planning and zoning boards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and accept constructive criticism.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
