Job description

What’s the Opportunity

We're seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to acquire and convert more car and home buyers for DoneDeal.ie and Daft.ie, across digital marketing channels from paid channels like Search Engine Marketing to our owned channels like emails and notifications, and more in between.

This is a hands-on, exciting role to make a significant contribution by planning which channels to use and how, implement the plan and then continually analyse and optimise performance. The role reports to the Head of Data and Analytics and will collaborate closely with Marketing in particular. Your success will have a real impact on further growing and capturing demand for cars sold by dealerships on DoneDeal.ie, and homes sold by estate agents on Daft.ie.

What will I be doing

  • Strategy development: Taking a broad view of our car and home buyer acquisition and conversion to understand our funnel and the user lifecycle. 

  • Implementing your strategy to drive user acquisition, lead conversion,  retention, and engagement 

  • Data Analysis: Analysing performance using Google Analytics in particular to identify what’s going well and what could be improved, identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly

  • Creating Google Analytics events using Google Tag Manager to track conversions and collect the data we need

  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimize our digital marketing campaigns. This will include taking over responsibility for some existing activity, in particular google paid search and evaluating channels we don’t use.

  • Budget management and ongoing testing to improve performance. 

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
