About the Role


We're looking for a remote Growth Manager (Sales, Cold Outbound) to build and scale our cold outreach operations across multiple businesses, focusing on consistently high performance while navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of cold outreach.


In this role, you'll orchestrate end-to-end cold sales strategy, from technical infrastructure and campaign optimization to team leadership and process development. You'll be responsible for maintaining industry-leading metrics, implementing multi-channel strategies, and driving continuous system improvements.


You'll inherit an established infrastructure (currently cycling between 100 domains and 200 email accounts, sending ~50K emails monthly) and a high-performing team (1 SalesOps Associate, 1 BDR, contract lead generators/verifiers, and an automation specialist) serving multiple business lines. Working directly with the CEO, you'll optimize this foundation and scale it to the next level through technical expertise and strategic innovation.


Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 4-6+ years of experience in cold sales management, BDR team leadership, or email deliverability roles. You have deep technical expertise in email infrastructure and deliverability (consistently achieving at least 50% open rates), strong analytical skills for campaign optimization, and proven experience developing SOPs and automation workflows. You're a force of nature when it comes to cold sales - it's truly your passion, not just another marketing channel. You're obsessed with figuring things out, diving deep into problems until they're solved, and constantly pushing to improve. When faced with challenges, you're the kind of person who exhausts every possible solution before coming for help, combining sharp analytical thinking with quick execution. Beyond your technical capabilities, you bring high agency, integrity, and an upbeat energy that inspires teams while managing up effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Your performance will be measured by cold sales conversion metrics (deliverability scores, open/reply rates, calls booked, revenue), team effectiveness, growth ROI, and ability to maintain consistent outreach through proactive planning and rapid adaptation to industry changes.


You’ll be on the Growth team, manage a SalesOps Associate and BDR, and collaborate with others across our Operations and Finance teams. This position reports directly to the Co-founder/CEO.


You’ll be doing things like:


  • Cold Outbound Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end cold outreach strategy and execution; oversee lead generation; establish quality control processes for lead verification; ensure optimal cost per lead; design and implement comprehensive outreach campaigns; manage deliverability optimization across all channels; maintain high sender reputation scores; ensure consistent outbound volume while maintaining quality
  • Technical Infrastructure & Troubleshooting: Architect and maintain robust email sending infrastructure (SPF/DKIM/DMARC); manage domain/subdomain strategy across platforms; implement systematic inbox warming protocols; monitor and maintain sender scores and IP/domain reputation; handle blacklist prevention and remediation; oversee domain cycling strategy; manage vendor relationships for inbox procurement; ensure technical compliance with evolving email standards
  • Campaign Optimization & Analytics: Drive continuous performance improvement through SmartLead campaign monitoring; design and execute A/B tests with clear success criteria; analyze detailed bounce, open, and reply rates; develop automated performance reporting systems; maintain prioritized experimental backlog; implement data-driven optimizations; create real-time monitoring dashboards for key metrics
  • Process Development & Documentation: Build and validate scalable operational processes; create and maintain comprehensive SOPs for all cold outreach operations; design repeatable systems for team execution; implement -effective automation workflows; develop robust contingency plans; optimize vendor costs and tool utilization; establish quality control checkpoints
  • Strategic Leadership & Industry Adaptation: Monitor and respond to industry changes including Google algorithm updates; research and implement emerging best practices; evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies; optimize cost structures against benchmarks; develop innovative multi-channel strategies including LinkedIn and inbound-led approaches; maintain competitive advantage through continuous innovation
  • Pipeline & Lead Management: Maximize pipeline efficiency through GoHighLevel CRM optimization; implement comprehensive lead tracking systems; design effective re-engagement campaigns; develop compelling offer structures; establish systematic follow-up processes; ensure zero lead leakage across sources; create accurate forecasting models; optimize conversion rates at each pipeline stage
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team of 2-3 full-time members (Sales Ops, BDR) plus contractors; establish clear performance metrics and accountability; conduct strategic 1:1s and performance reviews; coordinate effectively with automation specialists; drive professional development initiatives; foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making


Skills & Qualifications


  • 4-6+ years of experience in roles like Cold Sales Manager, Sales Lead, BDR, or SDR
  • 1-2+ years managing people/teams
  • Expert-level understanding of email deliverability infrastructure (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, domain management, inbox warming)
  • Proven track record maintaining industry metrics, at a minimum (open rate, bounce rate etc.) and optimizing cold outreach campaigns
  • Advanced data analysis skills with demonstrated ability to translate KPIs into actionable improvements
  • Technical proficiency in troubleshooting email infrastructure and maintaining sender scores
  • Experience developing SOPs, automation workflows, and process optimization
  • Strong project management skills with proven vendor relationship management
  • Relentless problem-solving approach with fast-paced, high-output work style
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and learn in rapidly changing environments


Bonus if you also have:

  • Deep experience with sales copywriting and multi-channel strategies (LinkedIn, inbound-led outbound)
  • Entrepreneurial experience with track record of scaling sales operations
  • Excellent referrals from previous direct reports and remote team management experience

Role Specifications


Working Hours: Fixed, 8AM-4PM Eastern Time Zone (Toronto time)

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), Exclusivity Required

Compensation: Fixed base with variable component:

  • Base Salary: INR 65K–83K (USD $770–$980)/month
  • Variable Pay: INR 16.5K–21K (USD $195–$250)/month
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): INR 81.5K–104K (USD $965–$1,230)/month
