Job description

As a Product Designer, you will take on an independent and influential role in the design and development of our Developer Portal. You will work closely with our Design and product teams to ensure that design solutions align with user needs and business goals. This position offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to the evolution of our products.

User Research and Insights:

In collaboration with the analytics and business development team, you will define opportunities to grow, and conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify user needs
Lead Developer Portal design from concept to completion
Develop and present design proposals, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Advocate for user-centric design principles and ensure consistency across all product touchpoints
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences
Develop high-fidelity designs, interaction patterns, and navigation flows that enhance usability and delight users
Collaborate with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility and implementation of designs
Create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder reviews
Conduct usability tests, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to improve user satisfaction and product effectiveness
Work closely with the design team, and engineers, to ensure alignment and integration of design solutions with overall product strategy and technical feasibility
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and design documentation
Ensure that design standards and guidelines are followed to maintain consistency and quality across products
Engage in retrospectives and agile ceremonies to refine processes and approaches within the team
Seek out and leverage industry trends to enhance the product’s UX

Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional experience in product design or a related role
Portfolio that showcases deep interaction and problem-solving skills
Experience with design systems, guides, and UI kits
Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in Figma or similar design and prototyping tools
Experience working in fast-paced environments
Meticulous attention to detail and an excellent understanding of design principles
Strong prioritization, organization, and personal management skills
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales clearly and persuasively
Proven experience in leading design projects and working independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate or higher level
Work experience in the crypto industry would be considered as an advantage

Responsibilities:

Lead the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, prioritizing a user-centered approach and meticulous attention to detail
Conduct an analysis of the competitive environment and trends
Generate hypotheses, conduct user research, and usability testing
Design user scenarios and create detailed prototypes
Collaborate with the design team, engineers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and create solutions that address user needs and business goals
Control and improve the design system
Ensure the quality of design implementation and conduct design reviews

Nice to have:

Experience in designing for marketplaces and financial products
Understanding of decentralised finance use cases and SaaS use cases
Understanding of Front-End technologies and basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate to code
