For our SiC division we are looking for a hands-on Senior Sales Leader, EMEA to join our team.

As Senior Sales Leader, you will play a vital role in building a new sales team in Europe and driving sales and revenue growth in the region. Working closely with our VP of Global Sales SiC as well as cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Engineering, Sales Ops and Customer Service Teams, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Your Role As Senior Sales Leader, EMEA Will Involve

  • Establish a regional sales strategy for our Silicon Carbide Materials products (substrate and EPI wafers), solutions (discreet devices and modules), and services (ion implantation/disk refurbishing).
  • Working closely with the VP of Global Sales in devising and implementing tactical plans to achieve annual revenue, design-in, and design wins targets. Leading and managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Farming existing global customers located in Europe as well as hunting new customers, understanding their unique needs, and providing innovative solutions for industrial and automotive applications.
  • Analyse business performance, develop and implement business growth strategies for each short-, medium- and long-term vertical market. Establish account plans for all key strategic accounts in the region. Evaluate and use reporting tools to track opportunities through the complete customer life cycle.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the customer organizations to gain their trust and confidence in our products and services as well as Coherent incl. overseas product business unit and maintain good partnerships.
  • Build a strong team, manage the day-to-day activities as well as develop team members’ capabilities and motivate and coach team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualification

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management and/or global account management in semiconductor sales (SiC, GaN, Si preferred) incl. 5+ years of experience in team management.
  • A strong network and established relationships within the EMEA automotive and industrial sectors. Regional and/or global sales distribution experience with electronics distributors is a plus.
  • Managed >€50M annual sales budget. Pricing, closing skills, and long-term agreement negotiation experience.
  • Fluent in German and English. Salesforce, Tableau and/or PowerBI experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to frequently travel to customers in Europe as well as our site in Eching (near Munich) and occasionally overseas.
  • University graduate with degree in Engineering and/or Business. Advanced degree preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience.
