We are hiring a Sales Manager to take care of our customers in Spain and fuel growth.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is the leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, and a worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.
What You Will Be Doing
Your role will we focusing on selling our logistic services all over Spain, for both the chemical and food grade liquids transportation. You will be part of the South Europe commercial team with colleagues located in France and Italy.
We are looking for a customer centric person, a hunter that can be self-sufficient enough to plan work according to the strategy. You will be traveling to meet customers and prospects and at the same time ensure that quotes are delivered on time.
This is a remote role operating from Spain. Our nearest STC offices are in Savona (Italy) and Le Havre (France). Our headquarter is based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
Key Responsibilities.
- Actively searches for possibilities to expand and optimize STC's presence, market share, profits and customer loyalty by maintaining and developing customer relationships or identifying and building new customer relationships.
- Coordinates account activity and pricing strategy in conjunction with the commercial manager ensuring alignment with STC's local and global strategy
- Follows up on inquiries for all levels of transport service offered by STC.
- Actively engages in staff meetings for sharing commercial strategy and global market knowledge.
- Assists the commercial manager and general manager in projects and management tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Trade & Sales or similar.
- Minimal 5 years of work experience within the logistics industry.
- Minimal 3 years of commercial experience in a logistics environment.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Spanish and English (French is a +)
- An experience in bulk liquid transportation is going to be a plus to be successful in this challenge.
