Join our Integrity Unit and become a pivotal player in promoting ethical behaviours, transparency, and accountability across the Agency. The team is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Agency’s Integrity Framework and leading a strengthened, best-practice, enterprise-wide approach to integrity.
As an APS6 Senior Officer Integrity Operations, you'll be at the heart of our mission to uphold the highest standards of integrity. You'll lead the charge in managing crucial areas such as FOI, fraud, corruption, public interest disclosures, and conflict of interest/gifts and benefits management. This is your chance to influence the future direction of the Agency by providing strategic risk oversight and expert management to both internal and external stakeholders.
In this dynamic role, you'll conduct complex investigations, develop strategic procurement plans, and deliver insightful professional advice on intricate matters. You will champion a positive integrity culture through educational and communication initiatives and ensure that our policies and procedures align with legislative requirements. As a trusted advisor, you'll engage with a range of stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and promoting an environment where ethical behaviour thrives.
What You’ll Bring
As an integral part of our team, you'll infuse your role with expertise and strategic thinking. Your passion for integrity and accountability will drive impactful results across the Agency. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Extensive knowledge of legislative requirements related to fraud and corruption, public interest disclosures, Freedom of Information, conflict of interest, and gifts and benefits management.
- Practical management experience in one or more of the key activities required by the position.
- Proven experience in government investigations, including relevant qualifications.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in policy and procedure development and maintenance (desired).
- Demonstrated independence, sound decision-making, and judgment in providing specialist advice.
- Initiative and proactiveness in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address complex problem-solving and issues management.
- Ability to support the development and facilitation of educational and communication initiatives to embed a pro-integrity culture across the Agency.

Eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between $94,456 to 106,563 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
