What will your compensation be?

$27.00 per hour

What will you do in this job?

  • Assist on Health & Safety requirements to ensure Safety First.
  • Chair or co-chair Health & Safety Committees during the open season.
  • Plan and lead monthly Health & Safety meetings during the open season.
  • Assist and Develop Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Direct and Assist Department Health & Safety representatives in completing monthly inspections.
  • Updating all Health & Safety documentation as needed, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they are current and up to date.
  • Champion environmental and P2p initiatives.
  • Create weekly HSE focus topics for LOBs to discuss with staff.
  • Assist in coordinating evacuation drills of each location property.
  • Communicate with General Managers and Assistant General Managers to stay informed of any changes to policies or procedures.
  • Carry out property inspections and follow-up with the written report in ExpandShare.
  • Assist with workplace incidents and investigations and follow-up with needed documents.
  • Development of safe work practices and procedures.
  • Assist in yearly emergency evacuation procedures and documentation.
  • Assist in ExpandShare management and training content review.
  • Assist in safety initiatives at every property location.
  • Develop and update Site Operating Procedures.
  • Manage vehicle LMS systems.
  • Inventory first aid supplies at each property location and assist where necessary.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 2 to 5 years of HSE support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulation and best practices.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environments and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Skills in conducting safety training and workshops.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and HSE management software.
  • Minimum of associates degree required, in business or HSE a plus.
  • OSHA 10 & 30 certifications preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
