Job description

As a Retail Supervisor you will be creating a successful environment for staff and an enjoyable experience for every guest that comes through our location.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?

  • Oversee the sales and merchandising of souvenirs, clothing, and activity bookings
  • Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display
  • Supervision of staff, coordination of staff schedules, delegate duties as required
  • Ensure service is friendly, courteous, and professional
  • Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
  • Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
  • Communicate with co-workers and management, forward observations and comments in a timely fashion
  • Monitor security in the retail environment
  • Apply upselling and cross selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives
  • Collect feedback forms from customers, answering the phone, facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
  • Perform regular staff evaluations and provide feedback
  • Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 2-5 years of leadership and training experience
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
  • Previous guest service and cash handling experience
  • Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
  • Speaks second language, an asset
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
  • Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards
