We are looking for Sales Engineers with a proven track record to be partner with our VP EMEA and be the first SE on the ground. As a Sales Engineer (SE), you will report to the Head of Sales Engineering and will be a strategic member of our team working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success. In this role, you will be working with Fortune 500 companies and will actively drive and manage the technical positioning and evaluation phases in the sales process. Your main goal is to understand customer’s pain points and help them achieve the business outcomes based on your experience and Cycode’s capabilities. In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in software development and/or cybersecurity. You must be able to articulate technology in both technical and non-technical terms. That is, you should be able to have strategic conversations with C-level executives as well as perform technical deep dives with operational engineers.

Be part of

  • Participate in customer discovery calls with your sales counterpart
  • Ask great questions to understand customer’s environment and challenges
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations based on customer needs
  • Help qualify sales opportunities and undertake POCs
  • Create mutual outcome plans to ensure success of the POCs
  • Lead the technical evaluation phase and help customers setup Cycode
  • Present Cycode findings to customers to drive value
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams
  • Perform periodic health checks on existing customers
  • Participate in webinars, field events and conferences
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience selling enterprise software
  • 5+ years of software application development and/or cybersecurity experience
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages like Java, C#, Python, GO
  • Familiarity with SCM tools like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes
  • Good presentation skills
  • Professional with high integrity
  • Resilient with a positive attitude
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity
  • Team player ready to help others
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally
