Job description

OM1 is on a mission to improve health outcomes by unlocking the power of data. We are a healthcare data and technology company focused on real world clinical data and outcomes, accelerating medical research and personalizing healthcare. Our interdisciplinary team uses expertise in medicine, software, Big Data, machine learning, public health and mathematics to transform records from a diverse set of sources into enriched, research grade data which allows us to generate unique insights in a variety of disease areas.

We are looking for a Product Manager (PM) to join our team! At OM1, Product Managers work at the intersection of business, design and execution. We collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform design and prioritization decisions. We develop and manage product roadmaps, and then work hand-in-hand with Engineering to scope, execute and deliver on prioritized initiatives.

The PM in this role will be responsible for evolving the OM1 Real World Data Cloud that continually processes and enriches over 70 billion rows of healthcare data. The PM will translate a strategic vision into a product roadmap that balances short-term and long-term business objectives. The PM will work with stakeholders and end users to understand their needs and ensure the evolution of the data platform aligns with both business strategy and the architectural vision.

The ideal candidate has experience with data and analytics platform product development at the intersection of healthcare and big data. However, we are open to strong candidates without direct experience in the healthcare domain.

What You'll Do at OM1
  • Work cross-functionally to discover, validate, document and prioritize requirements from internal and external sources, aligned with the product vision.
  • Present the product and/ or technology to various audiences, including customers, potential customers and colleagues
  • Work directly with or as product owner of an agile development team to set product direction, generate user stories, manage backlogs, set priorities, define acceptance criteria, and accept finished work
  • Operationalize processes to support launched products and measure success.

  • What Experience You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as part of an Agile team, preferably for either a big data product or a life sciences/healthcare product with clinical, pharmaceutical, or patient end-users
  • If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

At OM1 ensuring that people feel respected, valued, and included is essential to our success. We are committed to working together to provide a work environment that embraces the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
