Job description

We are looking for a Sustainability Program Manager to lead and develop sustainability programs across the Nordic region. You will help build and maintain our sustainability portfolio, drive competence development, and ensure compliance with sustainability standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for building Intertek’s Sustainability portfolio in the Nordic region and expanding services, including training and development.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the competence of Nordic auditors and ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements.
  • Support in driving technical forums and providing expertise on sustainability-related questions and audits.
  • Develop and improve sustainability processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant academic degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field with a sustainability focus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sustainability in a strategic or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., 2030 Agenda, GHG Protocol, ESG reporting).
  • Proven ability in project management, stakeholder engagement, and auditor training.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
