The Role 

As an RIA Leader, you will lead and develop a team of advisors within Farther's growing platform. Working alongside our current RIA Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for driving team performance, fostering advisor development, and ensuring exceptional client service delivery. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic vision to build and scale a high-performing RIA team.

Your Impact 
  • Lead and mentor a team of wealth advisors, driving both individual and team success
  • Foster a culture of excellence in client service and wealth management
  • Drive team revenue growth and client acquisition strategies
  • Implement best practices for portfolio management and client relationship development
  • Collaborate with platform teams to optimize advisor efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex client situations and sophisticated wealth planning
  • Partner with other team leaders to share best practices and drive organizational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies

 

The Ideal Match 
  • 15+ years of wealth management experience, with significant time in regional market leadership
  • Proven track record of leading advisor teams at a major financial institution
  • Experience managing sophisticated client relationships and complex wealth planning scenarios
  • Strong background in investment management and financial planning
  • Excellence in team development and performance coaching
  • Series 7, 66 licenses required; Series 24 preferred
  • Deep understanding of RIA business models and industry dynamics
Bonus Points 
  • Experience leading teams through digital transformation
  • Track record of developing next-generation talent
  • Background in multiple wealth management channels (bank, wirehouse, RIA)
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (CFP, CIMA, etc.)
  • Experience with modern wealth management technology platforms
