Job description

LPA is seeking a passionate Architecture Project Manager to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. You’ll be primarily working on projects within our civic + cultural team; some examples of recent projects include West Hollywood Park Aquatics and Recreation Center, Michelle Obama Library and Environmental Nature Center.

What you will do:

  • You will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the project.

  • You will be responsible for meeting the project goals including integrated design and planning goals, budget, schedule, and project financial performance.

  • Prepare schedules, budgets and work plan documents during all phases of the project.

  • Review contractual and financial construction administration documents.

  • Maintain excellent relationships with the clients, builders, governing authorities, stakeholders and team members.

  • You will be working on civic projects including fire stations, libraries, performing arts centers, state & county buildings, and other civic & cultural projects

  • Review research for product and construction methods related to project

  • Serve as the Architect of Record.

  • Signing and stamping, as a licensed professional, all project related documentation which has been prepared under the supervision and direction of the Project Manager or Managing Director.

  • Mentor your team members and help to train and upskill them.

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture

  • 10+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects

  • Architectural license

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel. Knowledge of Revit and Adobe Create Suite preferred.

  • Knowledge in management of project business: scope, fee, schedule, work plans and budget

The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $150,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
