LPA is seeking a passionate Contracts Specialist to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. As a member of our contracts team, you will play an essential role in preparing, processing, and documenting our contracts with our clients and consultants. Your impact will be across multiple practices and markets on a wide variety of innovative, sustainable projects. As a part of our Contracts team, the Contracts Specialist I focuses on the processing and documentation of contracts that is essential to firm operations. As part of the Contracts team, you will also contribute to efforts to continuously enhance our processes to better support the contractual needs of the firm.
What you will do:
Preparation of firm’s standard client and consultant agreements.
Routing of agreements for signature.
Maintenance of contract files.
Documentation of contract details in contracts management system.
Collaborating with project teams and Contracts Director to identify appropriate contractual instruments for projects.
Collaborating with project teams and other firm groups to develop work breakdown structure/phasing for projects.
Participate in continuous initiatives to improve processes.
Requirements:
1 year of Contracts experience
Passion for great customer service and collaboration with firm staff as well as clients and consultants.
Fluency with Word and Excel.
Experience with contracts management systems, experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Resourcefulness and an aptitude for problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Completion of an Associates or Bachelors degree
Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with American Institute of Architects (AIA) contracts documents software.
Experience with an architectural or engineering firm

The salary range for this position is $50,000- $85,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
