Job description

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Market advanced online education degree programs offered by Arkansas State University (ASU) to teachers and school districts in Arkansas.
  • Successfully develop and manage a territory to increase brand awareness and interest throughout the state.
  • Achieve monthly lead, application, and enrollment goals by organizing and facilitating 12-15 recruiting events (information sessions) each month.
  • Reaches out to school districts covering the Arkansas territory and Southern Missouri.
  • Attend regional and state conferences to network with administrators, generate leads, and establish new relationships for future events.
  • Meet with school district leaders throughout Arkansas to establish new partnerships and gain access for recruitment sessions within their district/schools.
  • Consistently introduce and leverage the roll-out of marketing campaigns and establish new partnerships to expand the territory.
  • Utilize social media tools to expand recruiting efforts and promote the university partner’s program offerings.
  • Expand knowledge of regional and national programmatic and workforce trends and effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.

What You’ll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in sales or education sales or a related education industry role.
  • Preferred experience includes prior teaching or school administrator roles.
  • Higher Education experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with using Microsoft applications, CRM/Salesforce, and other systems.
  • Must reside in the state of Arkansas or in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Successful management of a large geographic sales territory.
  • A strong track record of highly competent organizational and time management skills; professional success and continuous career growth preferably in the education industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated to achieve monthly/quarterly KPIs.
  • This remote role primarily focuses on managing a territory within Arkansas, with extensive travel (up to 75%) to neighboring areas such as southern Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee. Your responsibilities include actively managing these regions in partnership with Arkansas State University (ASU). The ability to travel within Arkansas and its contiguous states is essential and will be subject to prevailing COVID-19 conditions.
