About us

We are looking for an AP Senior Accountant to join core team of our Shared Service Centre in Warsaw to help us establish best in class service. This is an unique opportunity to join one of the newly created entities within one of the oldest continuously running companies in the world.

What we can offer you

You will work in a team focused first on performing AP process transition from one of our European locations and afterwards,securing end-to-end AP operations for given region. Also, you will have a chance to take part in process optimization and continuous improvements initiatives.

Your main tasks

  • Process documentation via Standard Operating Procedures preparation & update
  • Adapting existing AP processes to the standardized ones, identifying process gaps
  • Supporting Local Finance team in case of unexpected attrition
  • Stabilizing the migrated process
  • Responsibility for effective delivery of payables activities such as invoice handling & posting, payments, master data management
  • Supporting month/year end closing activities related to AP
  • Answering AP-related vendor and internal queries
  • Supporting project work
  • Ensuring smooth running of the PTP function
  • Preparing monthly / annual / quarterly reports and other documents required by the management team
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Preparing internal controls in accordance with established Group policies & recommendations

Requirements

  • min. 2 years in similar position as PTP/AP Senior Accountant in SSC/BPO environment
  • experience in process transitions and process stabilization
  • knowledge of SAP and Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook) is a must
  • very good English (B2+), German will be an advantage
  • flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • excellent interpersonal & communication skills and self-motivation
