The Role
Mission
Develop the Air Scan business in the assigned region/area in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Roles And Responsibilities
Product Sales (80%) – Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in assigned area. Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.
Manage, call on, and sell AirScan products including Leak Detection, Supply / Demand Side, Air Flow, Power, Air Quality etc. to customers in assigned area.
Perform plant "pre-assessment surveys” and pass to AirScan Audit Specialist to install data logging equipment.
Understand and present audit results to customers.
Report and present on the activity of growth of the AIRScan product in the assigned region.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and as referred by telemarketing activity.
Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers (particularly key accounts).
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Research solutions to customer problems.
Study customer needs and coordinate Prime Equipment sales with Sales Managers.
Actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the customer base, and continually increase your market share.
Maintain customer base, sales activities, opportunities, quotations, and leads on a daily basis within C4C.
Maintain the highest standards of customer service across a service environment.
Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiatives. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Drive our principles of "First in mind, First in choice." Initiate discussion of terms and conditions.
Personal Development (10%) – Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. Utilize the Business Portal and continually work towards personal growth.
Reporting (25%) – Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget. Prepare monthly reports and the expense report in a timely manner. Report on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you?

Experience
3 years of relevant industrial experience a must, preferably in the compressed air industry.
Education
Four year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.
Skills
Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must have proven business analysis skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Travel required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Travel
Up to 10% local travel, and up to 50-75% overnight travel.
