The role entails:

  • Review business requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for manual testing of enterprise level tailor made multi-tier applications;
  • Perform manual functional testing, regression testing and API testing, with the use of the appropriate tools;
  • Identify, document, and track system defects, using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution;
  • Working closely and efficiently with our team of industry leading engineers and business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high quality enterprise applications;
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review and retrospective;
  • Prepare detailed testing reports, i.e. test execution report, defect report, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) report;
  • Make presentations to our clients about the implementations and provide support during UAT execution;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in QA and software testing.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or related discipline;
  • At least four (4) years relevant professional experience in manual Software Testing of Enterprise Applications implemented in Java and/or .Net technologies;
  • Proficient in creating and executing detailed test cases and test plans;
  • Proficient in identification and preparation of suitable test data;
  • Very good understanding of client-server architecture and web services (SOAP/REST);
  • Knowledge of API testing tools, i.e. Postman, SoapUI;
  • Experience with version control systems, i.e. Git;
  • Knowledge of Databases and SQL experience (any of Oracle DB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 or MySQL);
  • Knowledge of one or programming languages, i.e. Java, Javascript, is a plus;
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools, i.e. Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, is a plus;
  • Be familiar with Azure DevOps (Wiki, Boards, Test Plans, Pipelines, Dashboards);
  • Experience with agile methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban etc.;
  • Ability to draft testing documentation, i.e. test plan, test results report, UAT report;
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek);
  • Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships;
