Job Title: Senior .NET Developer ( Fintech)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep experience in .NET Core 6, Microservices architecture, and a strong understanding of the Fintech industry, particularly in the Saudi market. As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that power critical financial applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core 6 and other related technologies.
• Microservices Architecture: Build scalable and maintainable microservices with a focus on decoupling business logic, improving system flexibility, and enabling continuous delivery.
• Cloud Integration: Develop cloud-native applications using services like Azure or AWS, and integrate with cloud-based storage, message queues, and other cloud resources.
• Database Design: Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB) for high performance and reliability.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in application development, including encryption, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and compliance with local fintech regulations and standards (e.g., SAMA, SFD).
• Fintech Expertise: Develop software that adheres to the specific challenges of the fintech industry, including payments, digital banking, and financial data processing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver features that meet customer needs.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve their technical and soft skills.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance and scalability to handle growing user traffic.
• Agile Development: Work in an Agile environment using tools like Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in backend development, with significant exposure to .NET Core 6.
• Proven experience building microservices in a production environment, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Strong understanding of the fintech industry, particularly with payment systems, regulatory frameworks, and banking technologies.
• Knowledge of the Saudi market, including regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA, SDF), local financial institutions, and payment gateways.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Backend: Expertise in .NET Core 6, C#, and related frameworks.
• Microservices: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, gRPC, and service discovery patterns.
• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of Azure or AWS (preferably Azure for the Saudi market).
• Databases: Expertise in SQL (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git.
• Security: Strong understanding of application security principles and frameworks (OAuth, JWT, encryption, etc.).
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with open banking protocols and standards (e.g., PSD2, API standards).
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Mada, etc.).
