Job description

At Repserve we employ high-quality sales representatives and lease them out on a shared-time basis to international manufacturers, allowing our clients to enter new markets or grow in existing ones, quickly, cost-effectively, and risk-free.

This is a Business Development Manager role suitable for a candidate with 3 or more years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry in the UAE.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and/or partners to identify, develop, and commercially implement new opportunities.
  • Identifying, developing, and/or evaluating marketing strategy based on knowledge of the company’s objectives and products, market data, and competitor information
  • Negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, or distributors.
  • Working collaboratively and maintaining communication channels with engineering, operations, legal, sales, and other business units to develop comprehensive, integrated sales and strategic plans relating to products and services being offered by the organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new markets to drive sales growth for Repserve Client
  • Plan and review business strategy and business plan with management
  • Convert business opportunities into sales orders
  • Work with Product Manager and marketing for brand launch, new product introduction, and promotions
  • Participate and support marketing activities such as trade shows and marketing campaign

About Repserve

At Repserve we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones.

Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.

This role is for an allocation of 100% of your time.

Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (ie petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.) Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client before incurring.

Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience with sales/marketing exposure for industrial products, preferably in Oil and Gas industries
  • Well-networked with an existing pipeline of contacts who are end users in the industry
  • Highly organized and motivated individual with an outgoing personality
  • Strong business acumen and resourceful with business and online tools (office applications and CRM)
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to travel as and when required
  • Candidates with regional exposure at an advantage
