Influx is looking for an experienced Business Development Team Lead to join our globally and rapidly expanding sales team. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, highly-motivated individual to become a core part of our team.


The Role

As a Business Development Team Lead - Global you will contribute to the growth of Influx. You will be responsible for the most critical parts of the sales journey with a diverse range of prospects that enter our sales pipeline.


You will collaborate with an amazing, international sales team that is passionate about progressive sales methodologies and creating tangible results. As our Business Development Team Lead - Global you will focus on finding, building and winning new business and clients. Either through a direct end-client approach or through a commercial collaboration, you know what it takes to win new business.


What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in the similar role
  • Experience in managing Sales team including the managerial level, Business Development Representative, SaaS software, SDS and running Commercial Organization;
  • Excellent communication skills. You can take the lead in a conversation, leave no room for interpretation, and you also know when it’s time to listen;
  • Partnership building skills. You can build a strong partnership with multiple contacts at the customer and help them drive change;
  • Entrepreneurial skills. You have a lot of energy, are persistent, excited about the potential of B2B relationships and you cannot wait to win!


Core Responsibilities

  • Generate new business; you are in daily contact with potential customers – remotely;
  • ISR and BDR team manager; taking full ownership of leading and developing these teams, setting clear process, driving performance, leading by example and building out the function;
  • Uncover your prospect’s situation, pain and the impact they are looking to achieve, match the right Influx solution to their requirements;
  • Guide prospect through their buying journey and decision making hurdles; end-to-end sales cycle responsibility;
  • Nurture and manage the sales pipeline using our various sales tools to conduct your activity via phone, email, Hubspot, LinkedIn, Sybill, Journey and Google Meet;
  • In partnership with the SDR team - rapidly follow up on leads and run sales calls to qualify prospects;
  • Communicate back to the company what you’re working on, why, what’s working or not, contribute actively and accurately to sales pipeline reporting and meetings;
  • Win customers! Close Deals!


Stretch Goals and Development

  • Drive change in wider Influx business units based on feedback and learnings discovered from prospects and your market experience
  • Develop and explore global partnership relationships with relevant service partners to provide new business development channels for growth;
  • Build out and demonstrate a successful outbound strategy for new business growth, lay the groundwork to scale effective outbound with a future BDR team.
