Job description

As the ASEAN Head - Partner & Project Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving technology driven Low Voltage Electrical Products & systems Sales volume across ASEAN countries. Your mission involves implementing strategic objectives, promoting Sales of premium products and systems, and fostering growth in vertical markets. Collaborate closely with assigned countries and segment functions to provide pre-sales and post-sales support.

This role can be based in Malaysia, India, Thailand or Indonesia

You’ll create impact on

Strategic Implementation:

  • You’ll be responsible for executing strategic objectives related to products and systems volume growth.
  • This involves aligning your efforts with the overall company vision and ensuring that the ASEAN region contributes significantly to achieving those goals.

Large Projects Coordination:

  • As the central coordinator for major projects (those exceeding 500k), you’ll play a critical role.
  • Your focus will be on providing techno-commercial support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with countries to ensure seamless project acquisition.

Influencer Relations:

  • Engage with regional-level consultants and EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction companies).
  • Your goal is to secure product approvals from these influential stakeholders.
  • Their endorsement can significantly impact our market presence.

Vertical Focus:

  • Vertical markets (such as specific industries or sectors) offer growth opportunities.
  • Understand the unique needs of each vertical and tailor your approach accordingly.
  • Work closely with Vertical Market Managers (VMMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to promote partner & project sales products within these segments.

License Partner Programs:

  • Implement and manage license partner programs across the region.
  • Evaluate the performance of Sivacon Partners (our authorized partners) and drive their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support & Customer Services (TS&CS) to ensure alignment.

Country Concept Measures:

  • Define and implement Partner & Projects sales country concept measures.
  • These measures align with various stakeholders within the region and segment.
  • Coordinate closely with TS&CS to ensure consistent execution.

Market Insights and Trends:

  • Stay attuned to market trends, especially high-growth verticals and emerging sectors.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Your insights will guide decision-making and resource allocation.

Sales Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop robust sales plans, considering monthly Order Intake (OI) and revenue forecasts by country.
  • Balance short-term targets with long-term growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with other functions to align resources effectively.

Technology Leadership:

  • Promote technological advancements within the premium products & systems sales portfolio.
  • Champion concepts like TTA (Type Tested Assembly), i-MCC (intelligent Motor Control Center), digitalization, and power distribution management.
  • Position our offerings as industry-leading solutions.

Content Creation and Competency Development:

  • Create valuable content, including application notes, technical articles, testimonials, and success stories.
  • Collaborate with TS&CS to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Invest in competency development for your sales team, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

  • Your extensive experience (15+ years) in product business, including a significant leadership role, positions you well for this responsibility.
  • Your ability to collaborate across functions, balance priorities, and communicate effectively is crucial.
