Sr. Program Manager - WMS (Remote)

Position: WMS Program Manager

Position Overview: A global retail company is seeking a seasoned WMS (Warehouse Management System) Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar enterprise projects characterized by complex budget approval processes, frequent re-tweaking of numbers, and redoing presentations. The role involves overseeing the ebbs and flows of programs with total budgets ranging from $23-$25M, requiring site-by-site approvals. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and has previously managed large end-to-end warehouse implementations or modernizations, whether it's an upgrade, greenfield, or system conversion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of a WMS system across multiple distribution centers.
• Oversee the current $4.2M site implementation and ensure seamless transition to future projects.
• Drive budget approval processes, working closely with stakeholders to secure funding for ongoing and future projects.
• Develop and present content for Executive Steering Committee (ESC) meetings.
• Navigate hybrid project management methodologies, balancing traditional waterfall and agile approaches.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness in ambiguous environments with slower-moving processes.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of Program Management experience focused on multiple workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end WMS implementations.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex warehouse programs from start to finish.
• Experience with Blue Yonder or Manhattan WMS.
• Background in retail/ecommerce or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong experience collaborating with vendor partners.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to business stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AS400 systems.
