About this role:
To be successful in this Global Enterprise role, your experience and accomplishments will give you instant credibility with other Global Enterprise I&O Executives.  Act as a mentor, content-provider and business advisor for the client members. Must be a proficient coach for CTO's/ I&O leaders as well as participate in the following phases of the member lifecycle: service kick off, delivery, and renewal all focused on global organizations with significant scale and complexity.

You will manage a portfolio of 25-35 clients, typically Infrastructure & Operations leaders reporting to CIOs, from global Fortune 500 organizations.

  • As their Senior Executive Partner, you will be delivering value through regular briefings, a mix of on-site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars and by attending relevant Gartner events, etc.
  • As someone who has previously been in their shoes before, you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and obstacles for today and tomorrow specifically within the I&O space
  • Your understanding of your client’s priorities and objectives combined with your own experience will enable you to effectively draw on and thoughtfully apply Gartner’s wealth of resources to expand and accelerate your client’s impact.
  • Collaboration is key: You will work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered; these can include Sales teams, Analysts, Client Managers, and your peers across other EITL domains.
  • This role is a client-facing position that requires a high level of Executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value
  • Responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities
  • This is a predominantly home-based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks; you will be delivering value to your client portfolio in a virtual manner

What you will need:

  • 15+ years of c-level and/or senior IT executive experience leading the Infrastructure & Operations domain within a Fortune 500 organization.
  • Preferably, additional experience successfully demonstrated consulting and coaching skills at the executive level.
  • In addition to I&O experience and skills, we're seeking AI, automation, and product-oriented experience and leadership skills; For example:
    • AI: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale AI within I&O, for example, Machine Learning (ML), Chatbots, predictive analytics, etc.
    • Automation:  Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale automation such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), service-catalogs with automated I&O product/service delivery/fulfillment, self-healing infrastructure, automated pipeline engineering, etc.
    • Product oriented/ product-centric I&O: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement I&O operating models, organization designs, tooling, and business solutions that leverage automated, service catalog-driven, self-service IT solutions for applications/platform teams and employees.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 164,800 USD - 192,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
