The Senior Brand Designer we’re seeking loves design and brand identity systems. They’re immersed in culture and excited by beauty, fashion, lifestyle and technology. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in graphic design, typography, and building brand systems across both physical and digital touchpoints, they understand how to tell unique visual stories through presentations and how ultimately to bring a brand and products to life. The candidate should also have a strong pulse on trends - what’s happening today and what’s happening next - and ultimately bring a fresh perspective and positivity to the table. As a Senior Brand Designer you will

  • Manage yourself, your workflow and allocations

  • Work collaboratively to communicate creative direction to team and peers

  • Be a strategic creative thinker, and lover of brands

  • Organize self and project partners to be able to share with the project Creative Director

  • Inspire self to continue to elevate your work

  • Be able to take a project from end to end, from conception through to manufacture/realization

  • Demonstrate design excellence and expertise throughout your career

  • Have a solid understanding and desire to keep up to date with innovation trends, industry trends, and design trends with a specific focus in beauty, fashion and lifestyle

  • Have exceptional understanding of brands across a variety of industries / Strategic thinker with strong vision and ability to present well

  • Have strong systems experience, understands how to realize a physical product from concept through to actualization

  • Have high design aesthetics, typography, great taste, and interest in developing art direction in relation to brand

  • Have good understanding and experience of bringing a brand to life in the digital space

  • Have good understanding and ability to bring a brand and physical product to life

  • Have strong concept and visualization skills / strong presentation and communication skills

  • Excited to continue to learn and grow

About you

  • You have 5-7 years of professional experience in a brand design studio

  • You love arts and culture and is interested in the intersection of those two things

  • You are dedicated to the craft and have the upmost attention to detail

  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience

  • Adobe Creative Suite & FIGMA proficiency

  • Strong written and verbal English communications skills

Pay Range: $72,100.00-100,000.00

The rate shown represents a relevant range currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
