Overview:
Verathon® is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to become the newest member of our Finance Team located in Bothell, WA.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist II is responsible for performing accounting duties requiring professional competency at the non-managerial level related to accounts receivable functions.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing aged accounts receivable including contacting customers to collect delinquent invoices and taking appropriate action to resolve underlying issues preventing payment
• Provide management with information on credit issues, including bankruptcy and bad debt
• Resolves client disputes and account issues with a high level of communication between multiple departments
• Provide clear and immediate correspondence to appropriate contacts
• Provide backup for daily application of customer payments via multiple payment methods like ACH, Check, Credit Card, and Wire
• Provide backup for research of payments missing remit information or misapplied payments
• Provide additional support and backup to others in Accounts Receivables as needed
• Provide support for invoicing and issuing of credit memos as needed
Qualifications:
• Requires 2+ years’ accounts receivable or collections experience
• Requires a high level of detail
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and automated accounting programs
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary range - $22.43/hr - $29.96/hr (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
