Job Description
The role of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer is to provide engineering services to support the selection, deployment, and lifecycle management of the DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) & NTP (Network Time Protocol) Infrastructure. The work is always in alignment to the current and approved Network architectural, roadmaps, technology standards and templates.
Establish written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs vended software and inhouse developed scripts that support the DDI & NTP Infrastructure. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior Network Engineers. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project.
Participates in various automation and integration activities, resulting in more efficient and effective operations / administration.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain a scalable and reliable DDI & NTP platform, resulting in improved performance and capacity to meet demand and growth, reduced downtime and high resiliency.
Collaborate with key Network Engineering teams to provide required DDI & NTP services.
Assist with Audit deliverables for DDI & NTP Infrastructure.
Work with vendors to enhance their respective tools.
Develop integrations for the various DDI & NTP Infrastructure.
Identify gaps in current systems and processes and recommend appropriate solutions.
Develop detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and technical designs.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in DDI & NTP Engineering. (Preferred)
Strong knowledge of system and networking concepts.
Experience in the design & deployment of Infoblox DDI & NTP infrastructure.
Infoblox Certification. (Preferred)
Functional knowledge of Network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, load balancers etc. Understanding of inter-dependencies of various network components.
Knowledge of networking protocols such as ICMP, NTP, TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, UDP, VRRP.
Skills in Scripting; Python, Ansible, Shell, JavaScript, or similar.
Desired Qualifications:
Has installed or supported network infrastructure.
Self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative.
Focused on execution, delivery, and commitment to dates.
Sound engineering foundation with network and systems troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Organized and detail oriented; strong technical acumen.
Experience working with various software vendors including but not limited to Infoblox, F5, SPLUNK, as well as equipment manufacturers such as Cisco, F5, etc.
Basic knowledge in tools such as tcpdump, wireshark, and PaloAlto.
Experience in a financial services organization (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking).

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - 170,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
