Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and meticulous remote Senior Product Manager to oversee the productization, assist in go-to-market activities for innovative data-driven products, and manage product lifecycles. This role will ensure smooth execution of all governance, packaging, pricing, positioning, and marketing activities from pre-launch through post-launch phases. The ideal candidate will excel at creating compelling product copy and articulating the value of intangible data products to diverse audiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Collateral Prose Development: Create clear, persuasive, and informative content for inclusion in documents such as product overviews, brochures, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing documentation. These activities will be in support of our Product Marketing matrix partners.

  • Productization Oversight: Manage the productization process, ensuring compliance with governance requirements, clearly documenting, and communicating product packaging, pricing strategies, and product positioning.

  • Product Development: Assist in defining product requirements and user stories to deliver innovative location intelligence data products.

  • Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and data science teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

  • Go-To-Market Execution Partnership: Plan and execute pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, customer success managers, and customer support.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with multiple stakeholders to refine content and strategies through iterative feedback cycles, demonstrating thoughtfulness, patience, and adaptability.

  • Value Articulation: Communicate the benefits and unique value of data products effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Process Management: Maintain a methodical and organized approach to tasks, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay curious about the evolving data product landscape and contribute ideas to refine processes and messaging.

  • Metrics Tracking and Analysis: Track key performance indicators and analyze product performance to inform future iterations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Proven ability to write clear, persuasive, and informative content in US English, tailored to diverse audiences.

  • Experience with Intangible Products: Comfort with describing and positioning intangible data products, emphasizing their practical value and ROI for customers.

  • Organized and Methodical: Strong project management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and ensuring all details are managed.

  • Adaptable and Thoughtful: Temperament necessary to navigate ambiguous situations, accommodate frequent changes, and approach challenges with thoughtfulness and adaptability.

  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing iterative feedback from multiple stakeholders, demonstrating patience and collaborative skills.

  • Curiosity and Drive: A natural curiosity and an eagerness to dive deep into new subject matter areas.

  • 4-6 years of proven product management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in product content creation, copywriting, and/or ad-hoc project management.

  • Experience at a technology company whose products include those with no physical components (i.e., data companies).

  • Experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, GIS platforms, or analytics software is a plus.

  • Understanding and experience with Geospatial technology, tools, and trends.
