The Revenue Optimization Specialist’s primary responsibility is to reconcile client inventory on an ongoing basis to identify areas of opportunity that will lead to improved financial conversion rates.  This role will assist Client Success Directors in supporting client relations and will encompass operational, financial and relationship aspects as defined below.
Role and Responsibilities

Operations 

  • Reconcile TREND inventory to client inventory
  • Push inventory in client review to improve conversion rate
  • Identify gaps in processing and make recommendations to Client Success Directors to improve processes going forward
  • Follow-up on assistance requests including:
    1. TRENDResolve user questions/assistance requests
    2. Pre-approval outside of TRENDResolve
    3. Rejections
  • Denial follow-up
    1. Compile information and statistics and make recommendations to Client Success Directors to improve future denial rates

 

Data

  • Monitor incoming and outgoing data files for delays or issues
  • Monitor Data Injection dashboard
  • Monitor Imports and Exports
  • Monitor manually identified refunds and identify trends that indicate potential data or analyst issues; Make recommendations to resolve these issues

 

Client Relations

  • Provide client support (i.e., application support, workflow/invoice follow-up and monitoring, needs assistance requests, denials, address daily client questions/requests, TRENDConnect training and demos) 
  • Continuously remain educated on client process and procedures to identify obstacles in meeting client needs 
  • Work with clients to implement process improvements (i.e., client-side process improvements, improve AR conversion rates, etc.)  
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare or related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement
  • 2+ years of healthcare and/or payment integrity experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to drive change and effectively manage communication with internal and external customers
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, team environment 
  • Superior organization, communication, presentation, and analytical skills
Mental and Physical Demands
  • This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or around computers and printers.
  • The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.
  • Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion to utilize computer software and hardware continuously throughout the day.
  • Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on analytical tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the day.
