Job description

Vibrent Health is looking for the next member of our growth team.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will penetrate new and existing markets as determined by market research and will both generate and contact leads to drive booked meetings toward the goal of qualified pipeline growth and resulting revenue in North America. This role requires strong medical research knowledge and experience alongside a desire to use this knowledge in a commercial industry setting to bring solutions to the research community, especially in the pharmaceutical industry or academic medical centers.

To be successful, you must be able to effectively share Vibrent Health’s value proposition in consultative conversations. Our primary customers are found in the medical research community, and you will utilize your medical or clinical research background to work closely with prospective clients to demonstrate how a collaboration with Vibrent Health will assist them in reaching and accelerating their research goals.  It will be your responsibility to identify researcher needs, understand their programs, and recognize how Vibrent-provided tools and research services can provide effective solutions. Our prospects and accounts are doing human subject cohort research across such areas as genomics, rare disease, oncology, and digital health. Your expertise in human cohort research will be invaluable in making these connections.

You are a high energy communicator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is comfortable with contributing to a growing team. You are energized by having live interactions with prospects, customers, and other collaborators via phone or their preferred video interfaces. You have impeccable organizational skills and are driven to excel in a competitive sales environment. To complement your sales acumen, you must have a health research background, an interest in genomics medicine research and human subject cohort research, an understanding of health research protocols, and insight to the challenges and difficulties researchers face in human cohort building. Your expertise should enable you to have meaningful conversations with the full range of possible stakeholders to include research coordinators, data scientists, or executive directors. You must be flexible to pivot your approach to suit the unique situation presented by each program we contact.

Vibrent Health is a "remote first" team. We will equip you to work remotely on a team that is fully remote with possible 10-30% travel.
